Maha was born in 1988 in Casablanca. She started golf in 2001 at the age of 13 in Agadir when she started working with Jean Marie Kazmierczak. From 2003, Maha began to represent Morocco at international events all over Europe. She qualifies for the final of many top European amator events and wins the Arab Championships five times.

After getting her Baccalaureat from Lycee Francais d’Agadir, Maha left the United States of America to pursue her education and play golfat the same time. She attended Lynn University for her four years of College during which she was named Athlete of the Year for heruniversity and Golfer of the Year for the state of Florida. In 2010, she graduated from Lynn University with honors and returned to Morocco later in the year.

At her return, Maha turned professional, started playing on the Let Access Tour (Feeders Tour to the Ladies European Tour) and a few tournaments on the Ladies European Tour.

In December of 2012, she becomes the first Moroccan and Arab professional golfer to reach the European Tour after winning the First Stage of Qualifying School at 16 under par and finishing 20th during the Second Stage to finally earn her European Tour Card.
